  2. The only way to change our screen habits is to be intentional and specific.

Tech-Wise Practice #1: We create more than we consume.

Tech-Wise Practice #2: We are designed for a rhythm of work and rest.

Tech-Wise Practice #3: We wake up before our devices do, and they “go to bed” before we do.

Tech-Wise Practice #4: We aim for “no screens before double digits” at school and at home.

Tech-Wise Practice #5: Car time, Dinner time and Restaurant time is conversation time.

Tech-Wise Practice #6: Never impulse buy.

Tech-Wise Practice #7: Recognize advertising for what it is – propaganda. Call out the lie!

Tech-Wise Practice #8: Cultivate a deep appreciation for creation.

Tech-Wise Practice #9: Set specific times for email and unsubscribe from anything unnecessary.

Tech-Wise Practice #10: Turn off all notifications, alerts and sounds.

Tech-Wise Practice #11: Set a time and a time limit for social media (or just get off it).

Tech-Wise Practice #12: Remove all social media apps from your phone and eliminate any app that doesn’t save you time.

Tech-Wise Practice #13: Take a regular day alone for silence and solitude.

Tech-Wise Practice #14: Increase your DTWG by spending time in God’s word and prayer.
