Go Tell It: Everyday Mission - Artie Lindsay, Acts 8:1–8
The big idea: When life scatters God’s people, faithful believers turn displacement into an everyday mission.
I. God often uses scattering to accomplish His mission.
II. Every believer is called to an everyday mission.
III. The gospel brings joy wherever it is received.
The church gathers for worship, but the church scatters for mission.
Take Action: Living Everyday Mission
Acts 1:8, 1 Peter 2:9, 2 Cor 5:20, Matthew 9:37
1. What is the Spirit prompting you to do after hearing God’s word today?
2. Where has God already scattered you? Think about the places you spend most of your time each week. Your workplace, school, neighborhood, gym, or daily routines. How might God be placing you there on purpose as part of His mission?
3. Who is one person God may be inviting you to care for spiritually? Is there someone in your life who is struggling, searching, or open to deeper conversation? Pray for them this week and ask God to open a door for encouragement or prayer.
4. What is one simple step you can take this week to share Christ’s love? Examples might include:
a. Listening to someone’s story
b. Praying with a coworker or friend
c. Sharing how Jesus has changed your life
d. Inviting someone to church
Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and take one step this week.
5. Who do you need to share this message with this week?
