Unshaken, Part 6: Perseverance and the Eternal Reward - Kevin Heyne
Matthew 24:1-13; Revelation 2:10; Matthew 16:27 & 1 Corinthians 3:10-15
1. Those who don’t give up when their faith is tested will be saved.
2. The greatest thing we could ever pursue is God’s eternal reward.
3. Everything we do will be evaluated by God in the end.
4. We're to build a God-centered structure on top of the foundation laid by Christ.
5. We aren’t saved by our works, but we’re saved to do good works.
Take Action!
1 - How has your faith been tested lately?
2 - Why is perseverance for the believer so important? What has this series taught you about being "unshaken"?
3 - Did you know that everything we do will be evaluated by God in the end? Does this encourage or scare you? Why? (See Matt. 1:27; Rev. 22:12; 1 Cor. 3:10-15)
4 - Are we saved by the works that we do? How does "doing good works" fiit with being saved by God's grace? (See Eph. 2:8-10, Col. 3:23)
5 - Why is the foundation of our faith that was laid by Christ unshakable?
6 - End your time by praising God for who He is and praising Him for His glory.
